Our Family
We are Oliver & Alejandra James, the co-founders of Ali+Oli. This is our family business and these are our daughters. We are located in the beautiful City of Coral Gables in Miami-Dade County, Florida. We started our baby product business in 2007, when these girls were just babies.
We have experienced all of the ups-and-downs of parenting just like you have, and we know what you expect when buying a product for your little one. This expectation is what's behind our passion in creating the high-quality baby products you receive when you purchase from our brand.
Even though our girls are grown now, we still find great joy in seeing our products being used by young families like yours. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your little one using our products and receiving the positive feedback from you about your experiences.

We often get asked if we were the founders of Liapela; Yes, we are. We opened Liapela in 2006. The name was derived using a syllable from each of our daughters' names. We had three stores in total, one in Orlando, and two in South Florida. All three were in class A malls.
We ran our retail stores for 14-years. We curated high-end baby products and displayed them elegantly in our modern showrooms. This was our Coral Gables location located in the Village of Merrick Park mall. It was 6,200sf.
During our time as retailers we learned a lot about the baby product industry. We learned about consumer buying habits, we learned how brands work, we learned how to find quality in products.
All of these experiences led to the creation of the Ali+Oli brand.
